Okay, I made up the part about Activision. But, the interesting part of the story is that EA seems to be acknowledging that they are were evil.

According to Joystiq, EA CEO John Riccitiello took the stage at this week’s DICE and admitted that, “We at EA blew it,” in regards to all the top name developers EA has bought up over the years.

So they admit that they blew it? That’s obvious. Ask M$ how Rare is working out for them. And maybe this is the lesson learned and how Bungie escaped M$ - you can’t buy a company’s creative potential. Once the key employees leave, it’s all over.
