The good news: UT3 for the 360 is definitely coming out this summer, with five “exclusive” maps plus all the DLC for PS3 and PC will be free! That’s great news. The bad news: the graphics are questionable, and one of the reviews they highlight in the trailer comes from Maxim. Anyway, Martin begs you to buy this. Check the trailer (their bandwith sucks) and decide for yourself.
I really can’t explain this video. The nerd factor is so high it should be CGI. Yes, you want to watch it.

If you are like me and want to spend $50 on a game the day before you spend $60 on GTA IV, this post is for you. I have found a couple interesting screenshots and a decent video from MTV that highlights the new Mario Kart game.
First, the screens: basically they show off the online interface and it doesn’t look terrible. Yes, I am also surprised. How does it work? Joystiq highlights:
Sounds decent, doesn’t it? Plus, we have a video from MTV’s Stephen Totillo playing the game. The video is worth watching for a few reasons. 1) It shows the weird wheel and how it plays. 2) You get to see how freaking annoying a video game company salesman can be. Which button is the gas again, you maniac? 3) Totillo gets 12th, 7th, 12th in his three races. I don’t care what anyone says, that is abysmal. I am sure that salesman didn’t have the game set to 150cc. That had to be 50cc. How can we respect him as a VIDEO GAME journalist if he can’t get better than 12th? I don’t care if the control system requires your tongue. I could do better than 12th (last) on 50cc. So, you can keep that in mind as you listen to him on the 1up Yours podcast, etc. Anyway, here’s the video:

Yes, I just used OMG two posts in a row. That’s how excitable I am today. Imagine if one of the most interesting games in the forseeable future suddenly incorporated the coolest technology demo you ever saw on YouTube. Well, hold on tight, because it just happened.
You may remember Boom Blox. The Spielberg Wii title that looked like Blast Corps meets Carnival Games - in a good way. You may also remember the YouTube video that showed off Wii head tracking capability and looked crazy awesome and nobody would ever use it.
Well, that kid in the YouTube video had better start writing EA some letters, cause they are taking his idea and putting into this game. And with that, we have the #1 most anticipated Wii game of all time. No, I am not kidding. Video is embedded above.
