Thanks, guys!
blue rabbit - no need to mention your gamertag. When you donate through ChipIn, we get a record of your donation amount and your email address. As long as your email address on file with Paypal is correct, you're all set. :)

I guess we'll just have to start calling it and see who it goes to on its own free will.

Thanks for donating!
The raffle will be held on Sunday, October 30th. Prior to that date, you will be sent an email that informs you of your raffle numbers (# equal to the $ you donated). During the raffle, which will be broadcast live on the interwebz, if your number is called, you win that prize. You don't have to be present to win. If you win, you'll be notified, again, by email. That's it! You don't need to do anything else in the meantime.

I apologize for any confusion. I think CzarCastic did a good job explaining the basics. To clarify, when you donate through ChipIn, we get a notification of your name, email address, and donation amount. The name and email address that we see are the ones you used when creating your PayPal account. So once you donate through the ChipIn widget, you're all set! If for any reason your PayPal email address is incorrect or out of date, you can send an email to 8bitbrigade@8bitbrigade.com and provide your PayPal email address as well as your preferred email address. If you have any other questions about how the raffle works, don't hesitate to ask!

ok folksies, i just sent out the first 121 e-mails with the raffle #s and download code.
(those of you who have made multiple donations, you'll get your e-mails later. i need to be more hands-on with your set of numbers. *rassafrassa*) <3
if you donated once (prior to 2011-10-15 19:29:22.. i'm assuming that's GMT?) check your spam folder please (and mark it as non-spam if it made it's way in there) once BSangel gets back with more download codes, i'll send out another round. w00ty-w00t!

The 30th, I believe.

It's so depressing to get so close to our goal only to have the goal raised and the percentage fall back down again. ;)

Last day to donate is the 29th. The drawing is on the 30th.
Don't be too depressed, Czar. We beat our initial goal by nearly $1,000! And we still have about 11 days left. :)

Thanks guys! I certainly put a lot of effort into this year's event, but it was the support of the sponsors that really gave us the attention we needed to attract a lot of donations. I was really impressed by how much our sponsors did for us this year. I was also impressed by all of the generous donations we received! I know money is pretty tight for most people these days, so it was awesome to see so many people participating in the event.
So, again, thank you to everyone who helped make this year's fundraiser such a big success!

Based on the trading post thread, I'd say the Skyrim poster was apparently the big winner this year. Everyone wants that. Great job on working with all the sponsors and putting this all together Gramps. I am amazed at the gerosity of both our sponsors and all the people who donated. Well done!

Since this isn't technical trade related, I'm posting it here, but maybe the convo should be over there.
I would like to know how much I should Paypal you, Gramps, to cover the shipping costs.

Once we ship your stuff, I'll email you the shipping total. Thanks for the offer, by the way!
