p.s. with twitter's limited search function, the next giveaway should have people include the twitter handle. (preferably at the end of the tweet) the tweets at the moment with just the hashtag are disembodied unless the podcast account keeps tweeting with the hashtag and the link. (twitter is supposed to keep 7 days of search, but the podcast's tweet has been dropped after less than 5 days! twitter, you get some things right, but others are massive fail whales)

a lot of giveaways are blog based with allowing the entrant multiple ways of entering. they have the first entry be an answer to a question or something, and then if you promote the giveaway and make a second comment on the post with a link to where you promoted it, that's another entry. etc, etc. (and it's easy to keep track of)

Oh, yeah, I guess I forgot to include the pre-show conversation that sets up that later discussion. Slitt synced his wife's new phone and for some reason it went to an old backup from the previous phone, wiping out all of the pictures that were on the new phone.

But even without that information, iTunes is still crap. ;)

I just got around to listening to this episode. I am scandalized. SCANDALIZED. Out of 3 brigadiers, only one and a half have played Duke Nukem 3D, and that's assuming Gramps has played it! It's even got an amazing port on XBLA!

But in all seriousness, I think there's a large contingent of older gamers who played the hell out of Duke3D who will be lining up for Duke Nukem Forever. There's no grimdark or enormous space marines, just a badass dude with some awesome firepower and a bunch of aliens to blast.

Also, SCANDALIZED that only one person on the podcast has played any Resident Evil! But I would not start with Resident Evil 5. It's just not as good as Resident Evil 4. And if you want to go back to tense, less-action-heavy, give the Resident Evil 1 remake a shot. In my opinion, it's not as good as the original on PS1, and not as good as Resident Evil 3, but whatever. It's still good, even with tank controls and no ammo.

I played the crap out of Duke 3D. I've also played pretty much every Resident Evil game ever. I agree that RE4 is pretty awesome.
