For some of us, things were fine. A little lag in one match, but overall not too bad. UncleGramps, xmiyux, red binary and I played several matches for a few hours. For some reason, though, Sam couldn't connect to the EA servers. I still say that he's having trouble downloading the required matchmaking update, but he couldn't figure it out last night, so he couldn't play. :(

Good games, though. I maxed out my medic class. I haven't played much with the other classes, so I'll be working on those now.

Whiskey - I was seeing similar things before I did the MP-prompted update. It was easy to miss - the first time I went into the MP menu, I got a little dialog asking if I wanted to download a patch. I assumed it was the same patch I downloaded when I first started up the game itself, so I skipped it. Then I couldn't join any games. I went back to the dash, then started up the game again, went to the MP menu, and then accepted the prompt to download the additional patch. Since then I've been golden.

If you do that and it still doesn't work, check this out:

Thanks for the info Gramps. It wasn't something that I was missing. I believe they were updating their servers for the release today, or for whatever other reason. As soon as I got on tonight, there was a ticker scrolling with new info on the game that wasn't there before. Updating now :thumbsup:
