Episode 20 (or why Music is wrong about Thief) discussion

This episode should be a bit easier to edit than the last one, so hopefully it will be posted before the weekend is over.

I checked on Steam, and they only had the third Thief game. I think the original publisher was selling a digital version of the first game, but it was $20. If it eventually comes to Steam or GoodOldGames, I'll check it out.

Personally I found Thief 2 to be the best of the series. It had well designed levels and the main character was powered up a tiny bit so he could go hand to hand with a single guard if necessary. In the first game he couldn't even pull that off.

I don't know man... it was a good many years ago... but I remember it being very frustrating and too slow of a pace for me...

I shouldn't have said that it sucks... just not something I felt like playing at the time...

I even bought the sequel.. but we all know my gaming addiction. :(

Yeah, and if I look at all the games I have listed in my tracker, going back to the Sega Genesis, I have 282 games...

That doesn't include Live Arcade and PSN games....

I think the base jump achievement is unlocked when jumping from the tallest building down into the underground. Something I remember hearing on another podcast.

Yeah, the key is you have to jump, not just fall or even eject from a plane or choppa!

Easiest way is to jump off the top of the balloons for the airship.
