I certainly hope that they can implement it and soon.

After playing so long with the 360 dashboard and the ease of which you can interact with friends while in a game. Not being able to do so on the PS3 is a huge issue.
You cannot do much while you are in a game. The ability to check your friends list, send and receive messages or set up a voice chat would be so nice.
Id love if it worked as well as the 360, but we'll have to see what Sony comes up with. I just hope its fairly workable.
