No more excuses, folks. K-Mart has the 40GB PS3 with Spiderman 3 blu-ray for $399. Use this coupon here for an additional 20% off. You also get five free blu-ray movies by mail. That’s $120 worth of free movies, so you’re basically getting the PS3 for $200. Crazy hot deal!

Can I stand not having BC?? Life is full of tough decisions :( but that's a real nice price right there. :) I'm going to have to ponder this one for a while.
I keep seeing people referencing the ability to "Add" larger hard drives to the PS3 and I'm feeling pretty lazy so can anyone here give me the deelio? Does it natively allow you to add a hard disk of your choice through an expansion bay or do you have to open her up and replace the HDD that's already in there? Are we talking IDE drives or SATA? Maybe even notebook drives? I have no clue.

You could probably buy this PS3 and the upcoming newly redesigned PS2(if it hits the US) for as much or cheaper then the 60 gig model went for. That is if you still want to play PS2 titles. If you have a currently working PS2, you should be able to make the decision a lot easier.

I believe you can just throw any IDE drive in there. I know that the owners manual for my 20GB has detailed instructions on how to upgrade it.
Now, on the other hand, I do not know how you can move your info from one HD to the other.

Does Upgrading the Hard Disk void your warranty??
I put Deelio just for Slitt :)

I don't believe it voids the warranty, as it is a feature that they tout, but I have seen dumber things.

Okay that's what I wanted to know. I didn't realize this was a "feature" as opposed to just an easy hack. Thanks guys :)
