Rumors on the internets suggest that the next iteration of Animal Crossing will be a MMO. I will admit to having a “mild” Animal Crossing addiction on the Gamecube. And by mild, I mean that I played it for several hundred hours and manually advanced the clock on my system regularly so I could play more than 1 day’s worth of Animal Crossing in a sitting. I think I ended up with my system clock more than 6 months ahead of the actual date.

Anyway, I managed to avoid the DS version, but man, a Wii version with MMO/social networking stuff built in would be completely awesome.

I am putting it at the top of my “Do Want” list with Brutal Legend for the time being. Get your friend codes ready!
